Fire Retardant Board

Fire retardant scaffold board are treated to be considered as fire retardant following the standard process. Also available are boards with nail plates which help to increase the life of the scaffolding boards.

Tradex Platforms have different coated wood board preservatives such as fire retardants board, laminated wood board, metal board. Tradex Scaffold platforms and walkways are least 18" wide unless used in area that the employer can demonstrate are so narrow that they must be wide as feasible, and all fall protection must be provided When moving platforms to the next level, the existing platform must be left undisturbed until the new end frames have been set in place and braced

Flame and fire-retardant scaffold boards conforms BS 476. Using chemical impregnation techniques, both the flame and fire-retardant treatments are guaranteed ‘leach free’.
