Timber Scaffold Board
During Scaffolding, each platform must be fully planked or decked between the front uprights and the guardrail supports. Tradex Platforms used solely as walkways, tower, or during erection or dismantling, require only the board (planking), that the employer establishes is necessary to provide safe working conditions.
Scaffolding boards conforms to BS 2482 and are marketed with the following information which is embossed on the end band.
The world “support every 1.50 or 1.20m max” it is used as a temporary access platform.
Standard Size: 38mm x 225mm x 3.90m long.
Shorter length also available depending on the quality.
